Crete is the best yet other then corfu ofcourse. We got of the ferry at like 9 and went right to a jeep rental place and rented a 5 speed vitara it was sweet rippin around the sides of the mountains with no guardrails good times. Right off the hop we went south across the island just checking shit out and got some info and gas and shit, then carried on to the haunted castle in frankostella or something like that lol. Pretty wild to this castle that was around 3000BC and the beach that it was on was so beatiful, it came out to this point and then back in and went for miles so nice. We both went for a nice swim then carried on rippin towards chania to go and see the samahria gorge. Did i mention this jeep has the top off cool breeze in our hair soakin up the sun lol, just thought i would rub it in. So by the time we got to chania it was getting pretty late and it would take another couple hours to get to the gorge so we blew it off for that day. Drove through the town and
roman graveyard
on the side of a cliffe, in matala beach on the way to the castlefound a really good market awsome prices on food and BEER. So our plan was to sleep in the jeep both nights cuz it was a little expensive, but as long as we did that and not get a hotel or hostel it would even out for the most part. So we got potatoes, onions, a full ball of garlic mmmm lol, mushrooms, sausages and this wicked alfredo sauce, put it all in tin foil and rapped it up good. We went on a mission and found a sweet beach with a camp ground beside it and beside that there was an old abandoned house with a big backyard on the ocean. So we bauhaued threw the frontyard, full of trees and chewed to the back yard and stashed the jeep in like a little rock pit by the ocean. I went around and gathered up rocks to make a pit while bigsy gathered wood. Some how i got the feeling that fires started pretty easy on this island, considering that when we were driving half the isalnd was already burnt to the ground lol. So I made the pit extra large lol. We got a good bed of coals
rockin then threw the meal in and waited for awsome meal. MMMMMMMM deadly it was so good. The next morning after falling asleep to the stars we started our trek to the gorge. Well little did i know that the pictures i saw of the gorge and the ocean, where on the other side of the mountain we drove up so that sucked but oh well still got some sweet pics. After the gorge we started our three our rip to malia on the east side of the island sean was a littl e sleepy so i drove. The drivers there are nuts, 2 lane highways and when u want to pass u put ur blinker on and rip into the other lane and they will move over for ya, but you half to be careful that they arent trying to pass on the other side or yeah, head on collision. Pretty wild drive i had a blast made me feel like i was back home, other then it was standard. Found a sweet beach in malia the nicest sand yet, free pool all are welcome, umbrella, pool chairs, and sean and i chillin under the umbrella. Every now and
then we would go for a dip in the ocean it was sweet. Just chilled there for the day then went back to the port in hirakio somethin like that anyway, went for dinner then went and checked our email, and holly shit does the town ever come alive at night people everywhere the streets are busier at night it was nuts. Once we got our shit done we went and found a'parking lot to sleep in that was close to our rent a jeep spot. Let me tell ya about a good sleep on the pavement lol. So yeah that was crete now we off to the airport to fly to france peace everyone, and drop me a line
