Birthday Day!

So it has been a pretty fun birthday! We started the day off exploring a flea market. There were a lot of fun little knick-knacks but I don't plan on buying anything until it is time to go home. We then walked through the Tiergarten and saw a lot of pretty nature; it reminded me of home. I am hoping that it will snow when we return though and I can go back and that it will be even better. Coming out of the garden we ran into the Berlin's Victory Column. Today was a day filled with jumping on buses and seeing where they took us so I saw a lot of random stuff until we came to the Brandenburg Gate and had a blast taking pictures with two guys dressed up there. You could say that they got a little "friendly" at some points but nothing too inappropriate. My friend Emma, from the other Germany trip, meet up with me and a group of us from my trip for dinner and then the rest of us went to an Irish pub where I had a shot of tequila and a Sex on the Beach. All in all I say I had a pretty fun day.

Talked to your dad earlier...it is apparent neither of us is very good at understanting how these things work. But we are getting better. Can you tell us what each pic is when you get home? We are GLAD that you are there, and that you're having such a great time! XO
