Adelaide
We all woke up super early. We had a big day ahead of us. We packed up and drove down to Adelaide Shores Caravan park (Glenelg). It looks like a fantastic park. WE set up the van, even the annex. (Could be our last set up of the annex) and went in search of some yummy produce to take over to Fiona and Janice. (YUCK!!! oysters, cheeses, dips, etc, etc, etc). We found the apartment block. It was right in the middle of the city and I do LOVE CITIES!!! Mum and dad did a really silly thing. They forgot to take the surfboard off the roof. They drove underneath the carpark and crashed it into the roof. Mum was spewing. There wasn’t too much damage so it wasn’t too bad. We took our stuff up to our room. OMG!!!! Janice spoilt us big time. Our room was AMAZING!!!! spa bath, 2 rooms with massive tvs in all the rooms even a powder room.!! We had foxtell!!!! YES I made full use of that. Shortly after Janice arrived. We all hugged and kissed her. James was excited but looking around the room for Fiona. When she arrived 10 mins
later he was very happy. So was I. I had missed them so much. They went to the zoo and saw the Pandas. They were very excited. Dad went to the gym while the rest of us went to McDonalds. (Dad is crazy. How could you not want to go to McDonalds??)Janice knew it was my birthday coming up and of course spoilt me rotten AGAIN!! I got a Doctor Who towel, Dr Who reading torch, and a Dr Who drink bottle. James got a Mario towel and it isn’t even his birthday. Mum got spoilt too. We had a great afternoon and night. Us kids had room service. It was a late night.
The next morning we were sad cause Fiona and Janice were leaving. We dropped them off at the airport. We will miss them but will see Janice on the way home at Hugh’s 21
st.
Glenelg is really nice. We all love it here. We could live here. The caravan park is really cool. 2 jumping pillows, 2 heated pools and best of all it is full of kids. I made some great friends. One lives on a farm and he
has invited me to see it. Hopefully we can stop there on the way to the next town.
I was getting very excited cause I only had 2 more sleeps till my birthday.
My Birthday
I am 8 now! I had the best birthday. I got 4 more Goosebumps books, A Doctor Who Book, A supersonic screwdriver, Dr Who t-shirt, David Tanner Dr Who DVD, 2 cookbooks and 2 garden gnomes. The ones I wanted from Clare!!! WE went to the water park for my birthday. It was so much fun. James and I had a great time on the water slides. I loved the bumper boats the best. Then to top it off I got the best surprise, we went and picked up my cousin Levi. He is in the Army in Adelaide. He gave me the most special present…. his army hat. I felt really special. It was so good to see him. We haven’t seen him for ages. He looks old now. He has a mo. We might get to go and see his army base if he can get us a pass in. Grandma and John called.
They sent me a lot of money to buy something. I really miss them but I was glad to talk to them on the phone and I’ll get to see them in 6 weeks.
We went shopping the next day. I got to look around to use my money. I got a boggie board, an Andy Griffith Book (I’ve read all of them now. He is my favourite), another Goosebumps book and a gag book. I’m going to play all the tricks on dad and John Movie when I get home. Guess what??? I can now do a full front flip and land on my feet on the jumping pillow. I will be sad to leave Glenelg.
We dropped mum off to the movies. we went for lunch and played at the park. We drove around Adelaide and saw all the sights Adelaide is my 2
nd favourite city now.
Cape Jarvis
Is really cute. We stayed at a farm/ station. It is really pretty. They have chickens, rabbits, sheep, emus and 3 dogs. One dog is so funny. His name is Rio. He is very naughty. There were
signs up everywhere warning us not to let Rio in the van cause he steals food. He is a fat brown Labrador. One day he ate a kids birthday cake from the Front seat of a car, lollies from someones van and a French guys potato chips. I Love Rio.
Well that has been a big catch up. Stay tuned for the next part The Limestone Coast…..
Bye
Billy

Adelaide - Party City
Hi Billy. Fiona and I had a GREAT time with you and James, Fred and your Mum and Dad. It was short but good. I used to think of Adelaide as the panda city but now it is the party city and I will always have wonderful memories of celebrating your up coming birthday! The pandas were pretty cool though!! It was sad saying good bye at the airport but am looking forward to seeing you all at Toronto. More partying! When you say Adelaide is your second favourite city, I hope Sydney is still at the top. Really pleased you had a wonderful birthday and were able to see Levi. The army hat is way cool. Love to you all xxxx Please thank your mum and dad again for me for those delicious oysters!!
