From my window in Bariloche
Bariloche is one of those towns where you meet other gringos, who when asked how long they´ve been here say something like ´five years, just couldn´t leave.´ Unfortunately, not everybody has the same experience, and everybody has a run of bad luck. Mine struck in Bariloche. The weather was pretty rough here in June, lots of rain, but i was in school and sick with an intestinal parasite anyway. They´re having a strange weather season, usually it snows in june. About the time school ended, so did the rain, and got a chance to do some hiking, and saw some things with a friend Maria, who lives here and I met thru a friend in BA. Also snowboarded a bit, but that got cut short when i broke my cocyx falling on the icy slopes (there should have been lots of snow by then). Somehow I still managed to fit in a few photoworthy moments!
