Mmm...Carling
Thom - So its nearly holiday time. Only three days to go at work for me and five for Kayles. Then six weeks of pure unadulterated laziness. This is why we joined the education profession - not for the joy of helping the next generation to learn but for the holidays. We have booked all the camp sites and bought all the equipment. Our itinery sees us go to Barnsley to stay with one of my friends a week on Sunday. Our journey to the north will first see us take in a football game between the mighty Sky Blues and Notts County. We will then move on to York for two nights, then Durham for a night. We will then hopefully stay with some of Kayleigh's family for a night in Geordie land before getting our passports ready for Scotland. We will be staying in Edinburgh for a few days before heading to see the Loch Ness monster before travelling on to Fort William and Glasgow. Then we will be returning to our glorious English land to stay in the Lake District before we get to travel to Blackpool to ride the Big One. Then we will be staying with Kayleigh's Grandma and Grandad in Liverpool before travelling to the land where men are men and sheep are worried. We will be staying in Dolgellau and Drefach Velindre before going on to Somerset and then the New Forest. Then our last night under the stars will be just outside Brighton before spending our last day in Canterbury. This will take over three weeks and see 1500 miles being travelled. Bring on the road trip!!

Lazy teachers!
Aren't you teachers supposed to be doing lessons plans during the summer, rather than galivanting around the country?! I don't know some of us are hard at work.... Oh hang on a second, not me, but you know, SOME people are hard at work. Suckers! Enjoy the time off, your trip sounds really good. Hope the weather is good. I expect to see many photos of you both roasting marshmallows and singing round a camp fire!
