Khama rhino sanctuary to baines baobabs We were all up early to watch the amazing sunset with a cup of coffee and a rusk around a newly lit fire courtesy of our resident boy scout Adrian. We decided to head out for a morning drive to find a few of the 46 resident rhinos. We saw a number of different species of animals which included a couple of black back jackals, a few zebra and as usual impala(the happy meal in the animal kingdom) and as you have probably noticed there was no mention of rhino in that sentence because we had not seen any which had been quite disappointing . We returned to camp, packed up and hit the road. After a long drive through soft sand we reached our destination but we first had to find our campsite because each campsite has its own island. After an hour or so of mass confusion in the car we finally stumbled upon our camp site number 2 which was ours. The sunset was amazing and after a long day we all enjoyed a well deserved beer and watched as the sun went down. Advise for the day: when in doubt use excessive force or speed.

Adrian's quote for the day: 'if he carries a pencil he is an "intellectual"'
