I ended up in Portland because of the 81st AAPA Meeting! Portland is such a great location in the West of US. It's such a strange city, but in a very positive way. It is known as the "City of Roses" (and many other nicknames), but my favourite is PORTLANDIA.

It is a place where you will find many artists... and so there are lots of art galleries, such as the Portland Art Museum (which is the main one), but the Pearl District and Alberta Arts District are full of art galleries which everyone will enjoy. Apart from those, Portland also has OMSI (Science and Industry Museum), which also is a must-see. It's located east of the Willamette river and has a variety of exhibitions to see.
