Well after flying for 24 hrs we arrived in Bali at the Ayana resort. Exhausted but finally here. This hotel is absolute luxury, while laying by the pool they delivered us cold botles of water and fruit to cool us down. It was great staying here as we did not have to join the long line to visit the Rock bar which is perched out on the side of the cliff but instead we got ushered down the express line. We all enjoyed the warmer weather as we sipped our cocktails and enjoyed the sunset. Not wanting to leave this resort we lazed around the pool to the very last minute until check out. Up very early the next morning for our 2 1/2 hour boat trip to the Gili Islands.

Gili islands has no motorised transport on the island only horse and carts and push bikes the boys had decided that we could walk to our hotel instead of taking the horse and cart. On arriving we were told that our rooms weren't ready and to come back in 2 hours we did and the rooms were still not ready we looked on the brochure and saw there was a 2br private pool villa so tried our luck and asked if it I was possible if we could stay there. Wow luck was on our side that day we were given the beautiful villa. Later that day as we relaxed around the pool we heard a knock on the gate in came a butler to serve us high tea which came with the villa and we didn't even pay for it. This was luxury. That night we walked along the little streets and stopped at a restaurant called The Beach House that served fresh seafood, it was the best fish I have ever tasted. The next morning we hired a private boat to take us on a snorkelling tour of the 3 Gili Islands. The fish were as pretty as the great barrier reef we enjoyed lunch on Gili Air island were Lorraine was excited lto meet some ladies that she was taller than so we had to get a picture of that.

After the morning of snorkelling is was off to enjoy another afternoon of relaxing by the pool in the lovely sunny warm weather.

Tomorrow morning we are off to the padma resort Bali.
