After a 36 hour travel day (including an 18 hour lay over in Bangkok!) we arrived in Melbourne on the afternoon of April 26. The change in flight schedule left us only 24 hours in Melbourne, which we used to ride the tram, walk around the waterfront and visit the Melbourne Cricket Grounds.

Today (April 27) we flew into cairns and are excited for the next couple of days where we will visit the Daintree Rain forest and the Great Barrier Reef!

Flights
A few days before our departure from Bombay to Melbourne (via Bangkok), Thai Airways cancelled their morning flight from Bangkok to Melbourne. That left us with only their redeye which left at midnight the next day. Our 3 hr delays turned into a 18 hr delay in Bangkok. Caused us to lose an entire day, kinda lame
