Ash the cat

I am currently less than a week into my travels. New York is now a blur in the distant past, I did all the natural tourist things saw the empire state, Rockefeller, statute of liberty, went to the obligatory broadway show.



I am actually quite disappointed by new York in the sense I only got checked for ID once. I came to America expecting to be accosted every time I attempted to purchase a "light" beer. But they serve me without question despite the fact at the best of times I look 17 years old. Kayla assures me it's my British charm, I am more than inclined to agree.



I am currently sat in Kayla's living room in New Jersey, and it's 5am. Why am I in her living room at 5am? Because I am currently waging a war though I appear to have lost this battle. Score is currently Kaz 1 Ash the psychotic cat 2, having snuck into my room in the middle of the night (I appear to have left my door open in a drunken haze). The Aforementioned feline has proceeded to attack/hiss and snarl at me, at one point leaving me trapped on the bed unable to move off, as any attempts to move where quickly prevented by his teeth sinking into my ankle. After a stand off that lasted 20 minutes, I planned my escape using a flannel and a hairbrush, after throwing the hairbrush at the cat and using the flannel to prevent scarring when the cat lunged. I managed to quickly escape, so now the cat has my bed and I am sat on the sofa typing this.... Hence why I have given victory to the cat in round 2. But round 3 can commence later and I am sure I can prevail.



I do realise in my first blog I have spent more time discussing ash the cat than any of my troubles but as I continue to hear him hiss I am quite distracted from all the wonderful things I have done so far!

Interesting first blog...
Firstly you took your time starting to upload your blogs :-p lol. You disappoint me with your lack of time spent on the topic of New York, tut tut lol, i don't think it will become a blur in the distant past for me for quite some time and i love you forever for taking me there with you :). I agree with Kayla about the british charm thing lol....and i knew you'd get your gibe about light beer in there somewhere haha. I've never even seen this cat and i'm scared of it, so i forgive this blogs dedication to ash the cat lol....but i'm sure you'll win the war with all your animal loving skills haha. Take care X
