So I got up at 8:30 and had breakfast with Steve, did some photo transfers from the cameras (this will turn out to be important soon) and video camera onto my laptop and backed everything up to Steve’s external hard drive. Steve and Rachel went to sleep and I went down to the lobby to meet the rental car agent at 10am. We ended up with a blue Chevrolet Matiz, it was tiny and had a 0.8 liter engine!! The agent told me we might have to turn the A/C off going up steep hills with all 3 of us in the car. Okaaay.
I decided to do some exploring while Steve and Rachel caught some z’s and first went get some gas. I put 20€s in and should have known that would be way more than enough gas for the 3 days we would use the car. I drove around some checking out the sights for a bit and thought about going to Paradise Beach but decided to check out our little beach at Ag Stefanos near the hotel. I parked the car at the hotel and walked down past the little church where the stairs to the beach were. I paid 6€s for a chair and umbrella. The beach was really nice with soft sand and no rocks at the water’s edge.

I ended up next to two girls from Australia. One of them was a dancer on the cruise ship that was docked at the new port and the other was her friend who was visiting her, they both were sunbathing topless. I talked to them for a couple of hours, they were super nice, really friendly girls and beautiful too. I stayed at the beach relaxing and enjoying the sun until about 3pm then went up to the hotel and jumped into the pool which turned out to also be salt water.

I went to the room and Steve and Rachel woke up and we decided to go back down to the beach for a while after dropping our laundry off at a wash and fold place in town near the bus station. Unfortunately for Steve by the time we went back to the beach there were no more pretty topless girls only a large older lady. We picked the laundry up around 8pm and got some pizza and gyros to take back to the hotel for dinner. I lay down for a while then we all got cleaned up and Steve and I headed into Mykonos Town around midnight. Rachel decided to stay in to have some quiet time.
We tried to find the Mykonos Bar that was recommended to us by the place we picked up dinner and ended up just walking around for a couple hours. We grabbed a gross gyro at Jimmy’s, it was way too salty. A guy we think was the owner kept staring at us while we sat in their A/C eating the gyros and made us feel pretty unwelcome. We walked all over Mykonos Town for sure and my feet were starting to really get sore. We called it a night around 2:30am.

Mykonos Attratcions
Despite the tourism, enough residential elements are vibrant in Mykonos. Mykonos attractions, the endless narrow alleys, the windmills, the whitewashed ledges, the blue and red domes –allhere. The cube houses still play on blue and white; they make for a harmonious yet repetitive whole, given the extend of residential development. The trademark of Mykonos\' Hora, an image famous around the world, is Kato Myli, the windmills on the low hill of SE Hora. Feel free to add a text link for my website http://www.mykonosgold.com :) I would really appreciate it!
