The room Wendy and Doug booked for us is beautiful! While showering yo ucan see the stars, and after moving into a different room than the first night, we have a large rock bath tub and dvd player. Outside our bungalow we also have 2 love seats covered by a gazebo.
Today we rented scooters and Doug showed us around the area. Kuta is a very busy place with lots of restaurants and shops. The beach is full of surfers and locals offering to teach you how to surf. We had lunch at a mexican restaurant then headed to the hard rock cafe so Doug could get his collector glass.
We headed out in hope sto find a good place to take photos of the whole bay, but unfortunately we never got there. We enjoyed a bountiful seafood feast on the beach with candles, and a view of the planes taking off, and coming in... we had hoped for a sunset but it was too cloudy. As our usual luck it started raining.
Tomorrow we plan on using our resort to its full potential. Sleep in, enjoy the free breaky, lounge around the pool and in our couches,
watch some of the 15 movies we bought for a buck a piece and just chill.

It was really good to spend some time with you guys. Our flight that night got cancelled, they put us in a hotel at Kuta. Take us to airport the next day and flight out at 9:30 AM. We miss the flight to Vancouver, so we have to stay at Shanghai one more night. Spend some time at downtown Shanghai then back to the hotel they put us in (closer to the airport). Took the flight Oct. 7, 1:30 PM back to Vancouver. We arrived Oct. 7, 8:00AM. We are very happy to see kids and be home. Very glad to see you guys, stay safe and talk to you soon.
