I spent about 20 hours in Rach Gia before catching the hydrofoil to Phou Quoc. The town itself is quite busy perhaps b/c of its proximity to the Cambodian border and the gulf of Thailand (good for fishing) but it is not blessed with much scenerary.

Statue of some local hero. He looks kinda cool with his hands on the hilt of the sword ready to pounce.

Local street gang at Rach Gia. They were wondering what I was doing with my camera (taking night shots) and when they found what I was doing, they insisted on me getting a picture of them.

Colourfull (but ran down) buildings by the river. I'm not sure what their purpose is. Its not commercial so I'm guessing residential.
