So out of the Mexico City madness and onto Puebla, only a 2 hour bus journey so we had plenty of time to look around the place in the afternoon. Although still a large city the centre is very calm and the first time we witnessed locals relaxing in their home. We ate (although I'm a big fan of Mexican food we went for a steak that was amazing), looked around the old town markets, cathedral, buildings and got verbally abused by some clowns.

New day, new city. We hopped on a bus for the 4 1/2 hour ride south to Oaxaca. This city is the capital of the state but a lot smaller than our previous places visited only around 200K. Really nice place with loads of old skool colonial buildings, galleries, museums and famous for its cusine. We got around most of the town centre on a Sunday so saw loads of locals chillaxing or eating each others faces off in the centre. Also tried out a couple of the local delicacies, which were intersting.

A mental driver, long winding roads up and down a moutain, an entire Mexican family on my lap, endless Mexican pop music, tropical rain. Just a few factors that combined to make the 6 hour minibus ride not the best. However all worth it when we arrived at Mazente. A tiny beach on the pacific coast. We scored a room on the beach and spent a couple of days chillaxing to the max. May move up the coast a few k's to Zipolte but defo taking it easy for a while :-)
