we woke up to a beautiful hot summers day today - tshirt and shorts weather. we got ourselves organised and headed into the centre of Cologne's town. we looked at yet more shops and we also walked across the bridge and all along the fence that seperates the train tracks from the walk path were paddloks, there must have been 1000 and 1000's of them all engraved with peoples names and possibly wedding dates. we then had a late lunch and then went to see the Cologne Cathedral. the outside of the cathedral is really detailed and is gothic style, really quite intracitely amazing. on the way back i managed to fall down the stairs (what a doosh bag!) and then were on the road again (with one very sore foot). this time destination frankfurt via auto-ban again :-) steve tested how fast the car goes, it was amazing! so we stay at another b+b hotel which is just as nice as the last one but just one room, not a mesinine floor. and we don't have to go to BK to get free wi-fi like we did last night.
