Arrived in one piece, a little over 5 hours from the reunion in Hollidaysburg. Great drive up except for the big backup crossing into Canada. But the actual border crossing was pretty painless - turn over your passport, answer a couple questions like: "Do you have any guns, explosives, or pepper spray?" ... That pretty much runs the gamut, don't you think? 30 seconds later we were on our way. The hotel is very nice, and we got upgraded to a 'loft' room - 2 stories, with the bedroom upstairs. It looks like a cool apartment in a 60's movie. And we look right out at Horseshoe Falls, with the Bridal Veil Falls just down the river a bit.
The main boulevard is sort of glitzy/touristy looking - almost Vegas Jr.-like. We walked out there a little bit this evening before turning in. It was even a little cool here this evening - something we haven't felt in quite a while.
Tomorrow we do the full Falls experience. Until then...

What a room
I think you two hit the jackpot on the room, between the views and the 2 levels. I once stayed in a two-level place in Sturbridge Mass, no where near as plush or glitzy! PS Love your Bonnie and Clyde getups!

Love the Bonnie and Clyde look
Glad to be following this adventure, too. Really enjoyed last year's trip. Must say I love the photo of you two. I think that's what we should wear when we become greeters at WalMart. Might encourage the shoppers to buy more. Then we'd get a big promotion. No telling how far up the corporate ladder we could go.
