Tuesday spent driving across the rest of the industrial wastelands of northern Italy until we arrived in Slovenia. Hurrah! not a factory or McDonalds in sight, green hills cool mountain streams (and bloomin' freezing rivers I found out last night!).
Phil flew today He took the navette up Kobala which is 900m above Tolmin Light North wind on take off. He managed to fly 75km out and return with a 1750m cloudbase which was very low. Visability wasn't great for photos as most of the mountain peaks were in cloud. He managed to get back to the landing field after 2hrs 40 min with a big smile on his face.
