May 5-8, 2011 At Patty and Jerry Cooksey’s home in Beaver Creek, Oregon
Visited with Evelyn as she is flat on her back after having broken her hip. She has to get stronger before hip replacement surgery can be performed. Had Rosie II serviced and washed of bugs and dirt, got hair cuts, did some shopping. Caught up on blog entry. It was a nice interim break between the Oregon Trail and our trip to Alaska.
Everyone came over for Mother’s Day and we enjoyed visiting with adults who were children the last time we saw them in 1999. Here is a picture of some of the clan:
Left to Right: Steven (David’s son), Travis (Patty and Jerry’s son) Michael (David’s son), Nancy Orick (Evelyn’s daughter), Scott Orick (Nancy's husband), Holly (Nancy and Scott’s daughter), Evelyn Egbert in front of Holly, Patty Cooksey (Evelyn’s daughter), Jerry Cooksey (Patty’s husband), Sharon Whitaker, David Egbert (Evelyn’s son), Heidi (Nancy and Scott’s daughter); down one row: Brandon and Ryan (Heidi’s sons), and Brandon’s friend. Jeffrey Orick was missing. Valerie Mock was taking the picture.

Enjoying your blog
I live in Cokeville, Wy which you mentioned earlier in your blog. I'm a "Rutty" or "Rut Rat". Returning from a trip to Casper, I stopped for a quick visit at the Martin's Cove, Mormon historic site. I'm so enjoying your blog to include journaling and photos. Thanks so much for sharing.
