Believe it or not this week marked the end of our third project and our time at Sunfield! To sum it up I thought Id leave you with a list of all the important things I learned this round:

-Always feed the ram from outside his pen, no matter how lonely he looks!  There's a reason Geoffery lives alone.

-Dandelions are a horrible weed when planting but also a great way to make friends with goats, little lambs, and children who want a turn feeding the animals.

-When turning off the electric fence only touch the very top, plastic part of the switch.

-Four-leaf clovers are not that rare once you know how to look.  However, the number you find has no correlation to the amount of money you'll win in the lottery. (At least 15, -$1)

-It's hard to transplant onions in a perfectly straight row but apparently that's important.

-The fence around the chicken pen is just for show.  They go where they want when they want.

-Garlic bulbs can survive being planted upside-down by 4th graders, but raspberry and strawberry plants need more love, attention, and water than most 4th graders.

-There's a specific farm tool for everything, but there's not much you can't do with a shovel and/or a hammer.

-Goats don't mind being milked, but don't ever take longer than it takes them to finish the bowl of grain.

-Roosters don't want to be held.

-No matter the weather in the morning, always bring several layers of work clothes and all your rain gear.  It will all get put on, taken off, and put back on several times in the course of one day in Washington.

And now finally Blue 3's 4th and last project is...

Summer camp counselors for disabled adults and children in Salt Lake City, Utah!!!!

I COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE MORE EXCITED!!! As most of you know, working at camp is kind of my thing so I really can't think of a better way to end the year.

Whoa new format
Hilarious. Love the "roosters don't want to be held." Hooray for Utah Camp Thorpe! I'm jealous. Try to post as many quotes as you can?
