Ok today's entry won't be particularly long as my iPod is running out of power. Why is it that my phone and iPod had to die t the same time? Especially when I can only charge one at a time due to having only one travel adaptor. Annoying!

Anyway onto today proper: after a lazy start I looked at my watch and realised that I only had half an hour till they stopped serving breakfast. After breakfast I made acquaintances with the 5 Austrians who are staying in the dorm with me. They told me their names but forthright life of me I can't remember them.

Today I decided I would go to one of amsterdams brilliant museums. I first went to the Anne frank house but saw a queue spanning 2 blocks so decided to give it a miss. Instead I went to the rijksmuseum - a stunning collection of old masters including Rembrandt's 'The Night Watch'. All very fascinating. I spent from about 11 to 3 there. After that I went and got some lunch in the same place as yesterday. I spent the afternoon visiting amsterdams torture museum - which was a complete waste of time and money. I then went back to the vondelpark to laze in the sun for a bit.

Tonight is my last night in Amsterdam before I move onto den burg on the island of texel. However I want peoples opinions. After my 2 nights in den burg I have until 11pm for my coach. I have 2 ideas for what to do. Both are day trips from Amsterdam. They are: The Hague with it's art museums and political influence or delft. Delft was made famous for the blue and White pottery that was produced there during the 1700s which still bears it's name today: delftware.

So what are peoples opinions? Email me/comment whatever but I want to know what people think
