well!!!!! we left switzerland...
caved into our LAST mcdonalds meal..
haha we swear! man.. we had to get rid of
our swiss franc, and we only had like.. 10 left so
it was pointless to exchange.. haha
but our mcdonalds cost 10 franc!
thats 10 canadian dollars.. barf much....
Kat and I caught a night train here to France, and it was
halarious! I felt like i was in a concentration camp.
We were in a room the size of a tiny bathroom
with 6 tiny couchette beds in them, haha We could not
stop laughing at how ridiculously small of an area we had to share
with four other people. But at least we had a place to sleep on the
train, rather than trying to get comfortable of a reclining chair.
We arrived in Nice at 9 am which was rad because we had the whole day to
explore, the youth hostel we are staying at picked us up and we met soo many people
again.. a million canadians! some from edmonton. Two in particular, steph and vince from
quebec and they always invite us out to eat and hang.. we feel cool
I can not believe how beautiful it is here, It reminds me of a really clean and bigger venice,
with nicer streets and better views
We went down to the beach with some friends we met then kat and i explored a bit
went for french crepes! and came back to the hostel to get our laundry done.
we took shower and came down for dinner.. mm.. we had this curried chicken and rice..mm....
AND then we ordered a bottle of wine and played card games all night with a group of canadians. It was nice.
Also i met a guy named JOEY who is napolean dynamite! I swear it is the funniest thing you
will ever see, i will be sure to get a picture because you would be amazed.
I make him say quotes and I caught him puitting on lip chap and almost started crying.. haha
Kat is catching a bit of a cold, so we are just going to hang out today again, tommrowo we are going to go check out monaco and this acient village place, then we might stay a few
more nights here because we love it so much and there is the CANNES film festival going on and are interested in seeing that!
p.s hahahahhahahahahahahaha that hugh grant note... hahahahHAHAHAH
