Rhode Island

I can't get Dumb and Dumber out of my head when I think about Rhode Island...so that's been fun. My friend Courtney (pronounced cawtney) picked me up from Sarahs house in Arlington. Unfortunately the weather is horrible. It's a blustery Wednesday if I've ever seen one which made driving lots of fun. It was about an hour and a half from Sarahs house to Courtneys house north of Providence. Sorry for the lack of punctuation...I'm on the iPad.

I met Courtney in London on our way to South Africa. She was definitely one of my closest friends on that trip. She's laid back, determined, hilarious and so much fun. This June, her and her older sister are riding their bikes across the country! Starting in Washington state. They are raising money for UNICEF so if you want to check it out look at biketobetter.org

Courtney drove me to Providence and we walked around in the rain for a bit and saw some of the colleges. I didn't know that Brown was in RI, ha ha, but now I do! We got hot wieners, I think they're called, and some really good frozen lemonade. I can't forget to mention that I love all the dunkin donuts on the east coast. They remind me of Korea now after having them so often there!

Courtney was so nice to drive me all over and help me find a bus to CT. She drove me to Brooklyn, CT and I got on a Peter pan bus to Hartford. I made it there and am now less than an hour from Southbury, where Shelley is pcking me up! I am so excited to see the Beaudoins!! It's been too long and is going to be so fun!

Crazy that my bus has free wi fi huh?? I'm loving it! Also I just drove past UCONN. So many famous schools up here in the NorthEast. I drove past my old exit where Destiny and I nannied in Needham! It was crazy to be that close after so long. I kind of wanted to stop in and say hi but we were hurrying to Rhode Island.

The weather here has been reminding me of home all day...Miss everyone in WA!

It really is a Peter Pan bus!! Awesome. Fun seeing a picture of you with Courtney, cause I always hear you talk about how fun she is, even though you rarely get to actually see her! Hope you guys had a great time!
