Hi guys!

Warning, the keyboard in using has its letters all mixed up so if there are spelling mistakes it because of that!

Well in in Austria! Its only been a couple of days since my last entry, but I cant upload photos unless I write something!!

We are staying is Salzburg, which is right on the German?Austria boarder. For those of you who have never heard of Salzburg it is the birthplace of Mozart......Oh and it is also where the Sound of Music is set. I had never seen the Sound of Music, so I was fortunate enough to watch it on the bus on our way from Venice of Salzburg. I did enjoy the movie but didn't take a lot in considering we left Venice at 7am and I had been up since 5.30am. From what I did see of the movie I can understand why people like it so much.

We arrived into Salzburg about lunch time and went on a quick walking tour. The town itself is very small but it is beautiful. The weather is extremely cold, heaps colder than Switzerland. I would have to say Salzburg is my favorite place I have visited so far along with Switzerland.

Last night a group of us decided to go and watch an Ice Hockey match. The Red Bull Salzburg Versus Vienna. Oh interesting fact Red Bull is actually from Salzburg.. So they are the only team that has their sponsor as part of their name. I had the best time. I have never had so much fun. It was the semi finals (although they play the best out of 7 and this was game 1). It was a really intense game. They certainly don't take it easy. The game had to go into overtime as they were level at full time. Overtime only last 3 mins as Salzburg scored and won 2-1.

Today I had the option of going on a Sound of Music tour. I declined!! I wondered around Salzburg and went up to a fortress. I did see some of the sights from the Sound of Music but not all. Had a great day just wondering. The sun was shining and I didn't have to wear a coat!

Tomorrow we are off to Vienna. We only have one night there, so we wont see much of the city. I am off to a Classical Concert tomorrow night which will be interesting. Apart from that not really sure what is in Vienna to look at.

Thats all i really have to report. I will now attempt to upload photos. Sorry if my photos are sideways, I am having trouble with the whole uploading business. Especially when all the instructions are not in English and I am only guessing the buttons!

Hope your all well. I do love hearing from you all so keep the messages and emails coming.

Will write again from a different location.

Until then bye!

I love that it has taken you until you go to Austria to see the Sound of Music! Deprived much!? You broke my heart a little when you declined the Sound of Music tour but then made me happy again with the "Sound of Music" shots :) Salzburg looks really pretty, I can see why you liked it. Have fun in Vienna xoxo

Hi Bec Keep up the good work with the emailing and the photos. It's just great to see what you have been doing and hearing about your trip so far. You do look like that you are having a good time. I was wondering the other girls in the photo do they speak english or have you learnt another language? Also are there any other Aussie's on your bus trip? Only because then you will make friends and you might have a new place to go and visit when you get back in Tassie. Mum is going ok, she has her ups and downs. She loves hearing from you and talking on the phone so keep it up. Enjoy the rest of your time and keep on blogging. Regards Melissa p.s. your typing is fine so don't worry.
