Edit Blog Post

so the time has finally arrived, the jazzy trio (aka me, Lisa and Hannah) are finally leaving! I'm quite sure a lot of people may actually be quite relieved as I know I have been doing ridiculous countdowns for far too long now! Think I may have turned into one of those people that people are saying "are you still here?" about! I apologise for that 😊

To say that I am going to miss everyone is an understatement, shed a few tears already and the airport later on today (about 6 hours away!) is going to be horrific! But saying that, I know that this next year and a bit is going to be incredible, full of its share of ups and downs, lets hope a lot more ups though.
Packing has proven to be a nightmare, having to severly edit my wardrobe for over a year is a hard task as I own enough to open my own store, however getting some hand roll vacuum bags has severly helped this problem! I've made sure that I have packed all the essentials including;

• mosquito net
• malaria tablets
• walking shoes
• my trusty spork
• and of course some jazzy metalic hotpants for rio carnival!
to name but a few! Obviously all the nessesary items you need for a year living out of a bag!
Saying this I know, even though I have checked and double checked my TWO checklists given to me by Lisa, that I will arrive having forgotten something! Some things/people can never be changed!
My bag is full to bursting although it still has the capacity for me to add a further 7kg of weight before I get charged for it, no idea how I am going to fit all the random rubbish I'm sure to collect along the way in there, may have to resort to clipping it all to the outside and looking like a mixture between a guide and a walking game of bukaroo with random objects hanging off and balancing on top of me! At least I will be a source of entertainment to the people who are more efficient and ruthless with their packing! (Hannah!)

Next time I blog, I will actually be out of the country! Can't wait for the adventure to begin, and let all who are willing to know about all the jazzy trio's shenanigans all over the world!

Beck.

Souvenirs
Hi Honey! Hope you have an absolutely amazing time, I got all giddy for you when I was reading this post :) Quick idea for any souvenirs/clothes/tiny elephant related items you pick up along your way - just post them home, but keep a list to keep you aware of how much stuff you're accumulating chez parents. My friend did that with all the tailored dresses she bought in Thailand on her trip - she kept one with her then had a lovely new wardrobe of clothes to home home to (bascially, she went on a round the world shopping trip but don't you get any ideas missy! lol) Have the time of your life, collect many elephants, and if you meet a tall dark stranger to run away with, send me a photo first so I can seethe with jealousy! Steph xx Love!!!
