VIETNAM AFTER THOUGHT

I forgot to mention this in the Vietnam section. You can’t help noticing people urinating in the streets. It’s not legal but no one will stop you of course. However kissing for more than five minutes is illegal and you will be stopped for that. Ho Chi Min City even painted the lower trunks of the trees to protect them from the acid in the urine. I asked the tour guide about this and his reply was; which is more urgent? The tour guide in Da Nang was telling us how much they like to eat BIG dogs and all sizes of cats. Small dogs are only good for pets, so they are safe.

i have heard about this... in some of the countries, they have shallow ditches dug along the sides where water runs thru them constantly, and people just squat over them... good grief charlie brown...
