Paris

Paris was beautiful, everything they say about that city is true. The history is amazing for someone who lives in Aus. Every day we walked for what seemed like miles and miles and we saw alot but there was alot more we could of seen, probably another 5 days would be good, maybe do that on the way home. We saw the Eiffel tower of course and Montmarte, the Sacre Coure, wall of LOOOOOOOOve, Jim Morrisons grave(hard to drag Tyler away from there), the right bank the Ritz, (Ill stay there one day €5000 a night in Coco Chanels room) Gallerie Lafayette, Tuillerie Gardens, Champs Elysee and all the big brand name shops and lots more. The Left Bank, the Sorbonne, the artists hangouts, Luxembourg gardens(beautiful) and the medieval streets and buildings. Amazing atmosphere here, I think I would like to stay in this area next time. We did a day trip to the Loire valley where there are more than 1000 chateaus and visited 3 all different from each other and beautiful. The palace and gardens at Versaille were too amazing to describe.
We left Paris last night and flew to Milan where we were lucky enough to be picked up at the airport by Ems friend Mauro, he seems tooooo good to be true and obviously likes Em alot.
So today we are off to Milan to look at the city. I will meet Ricky this afternoon when we pick him up and Monica later after she gets home from work.

Ah Paris
Hey Jane, thanks so much for looking after Tyler so well. I know she was so happy to see you and get a 'mum hug' by proxy. I would have loved for the four of us to be in Paris together, would have revelled in sharing that experience with my daughter, her best friend in the world and her gorgeous mum and friend of mine...maybe next time in Coco Chanel's rooms?? Love the blog...feel like we're all travelling vicariously with you. Stay safe and keep smiling xx
