A very big day! Took the tube to Wimbledon to see the ghost of John McEnroe, viewed Centre Court but unfortunately Roger was not playing. Visited Fulham to see where Geoff and John's great grandfather lived near the gasworks, Toasted James at his local pub the Queen Elizabeth. Went to Greenwich Observatory and found 0 meridan, went to Tower of London, had Starbucks coffee - yuk - (Lesley enjoyed her coffee) , went to Tower Bridge which opened while we were on it, watched sunset on the Thames from Tower Bridge, went to Whitechapel to see where great-Grandfather James went to Boys Reform School and visited Ten Bells Pub where Jack the Ripper picked up his prostitutes. Went to see St Pauls, Big Ben and Houses of Parliment by night for photographic opportunities!!

Great to read about your travels so far. How did Lesley's passport end up in the bin? Emily getting no sleep for 40 hours I can totally relate to. We are obviously very closely related Emily. Look forward to reading future blogs. Enjoy x
