Edit Blog Post

Dear all,

I decide to resurect the blog to keep in touch, but by almeans email me direct. I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer, whereever you are. Please see attached some pics from Kuwait. The titles should be self explanitary.

Things are fine here, if a little auster. I was allocated a car and an apartment upon arrival, which was just over a week ago now. It is hot, 47 degrees generally, but the humidity is lower than the UAE and so quite bearable. Presently we are in the holy month of Ramadan and so that means no eating or drinking in public, nothing at all from dawn until dusk. This means that all cafes and resturants are closed during daylight hours.
Work takes most of my time what with a 40 commute and a standard of 49 hours. I'm meant to be here about a year but that is a pretty lose arrangement and with more areas of the site being released for development who knows how long I will be here. The site tem are a good lot and about the only western expats I've met. There aren't many western expats in Kuwait and so there isn't much of a social scene, its also a dry country.
I hope you enjoy the pics.
Take care,
Bob.

Kuwait
Hi Bob, I absolutely loved seeing your pictures of Kuwait. I lived there from 1991 to 2002, from the age of 2. I haven't been back there since, although I have heard from numerous friends that the place has changed a lot in that amount of time.
