Yesterday we went on our helicopter ride over the Victoria Falls. We thought we would give you a visual picture of the trip.

Neither of us had been in a helicopter before, so it was a cool experience. There were just 4 passangers and the pilot and you got an amazing perspective of how huge the falls are. They are 1.7 km wide (Niagara Falls is 1 km) and 105 m high (Niagara Falls is half that). The water level is at the highest it has been in a few years now, so you can see the mist from 50 km away. Hopefully the pictures will speak for themselves.

After the heli ride, we stayed on the Zambian side (getting another stamp in our passport!) and viewed the falls from the National Park on that side. You walk across a bridge to an island right in front of the falls and you get absolutely soaked. It feels like it is pouring rain over you.

Yesterday, our Canadian friend, Jeremy bungee jumped from the bridge (you can see the bridge in one of the pics) and it was awesome to watch. It is over 100 m and the 3rd highest one in the world. Not for us, but definetly fun to watch!

We'll let you just enjoy the pics.... Happy Easter!
