France is a load of Bull

Crazy Day. 400 pound bulls running towards you with only a gate between you and the horns. It was so exciting that Jeff had to be part of it. The bulls charged down the street about 6 times with men on horses directing them away from the spectators. The girls and boys loved it. Jeff was brave and jumped in on the action. He escaped the bulls's horn by climbing up a french balcony with a camera in one hand and a snorting bull aiming for his bum. The running of the bulls took place in a small Catalan Village about 20 minutes from the Harper's home in Prades. It's an annual festival with bull running, human pyramid contests and a bull fight. We have opted to not attend the bull fight because they do slaughter the bull in the end. The human Pyramid was amazing it was 5 people tall and about 50 people bracing the base.

We had dinner out and now the kids are in bed and the wine is flowing, tarte tatin is being served and the next blog is being discussed entitled............. Jeff's Vending Machine Speedo or Food Glorious Food. Please feel free to vote on which one tickles your fancy.

Glad no one got hurt and that Jeff's bum escaped unscathed. I don't often have to Google food related terms, but I wasn't about tarte tatin. Sounds absolutely yummy. I say Jeff's Vending Machine Speedo...if there's a story behind that, I've got to hear it!
