Just a quicky - Hanoi

Quick update

I just got back from the hospital and ...

nah, just kidding. I'm back in Hanoi after a few gggrrreeeaaaatt days in Ha Long Bay. There's little that I can say (type really) that you don't already expect to read. So .... yes it was :
- beautiful
- amazing
- a great experience
- unforgettable
- a lot of other positive things

You'll just have to wait for the pictures and the movies. It was so nice out there. Swimming in the open bay, at a secluded beach, kayaking through (yes, through) the karsts in a very small group (3 kayaks) and all by myself. I could go on and on. But you're in luck. I took my cameras along and you'll be able to see the beauty when I get back, in full color, HD, and with few to no tourists around.

I Just arrived and I'm staying in a room at the Dong A hotel at the moment. Yann, Caroline and Alex too I think are still in Ha Long Bay. I did not wait for them to get a bus ride to Hanoi. Its 16:36pm now and they should have returned to shore at 16:30pm. Add a 3,5 hour busride (at least) and you'll figure out why I'm already here.

And the good news is. Wait ... did I already mention Linh? I have no idea.

Yann and I met with a couch surfing girl who lives in Hanoi. Her name is Linh and she + her friend and their boyfriends showed us around Hanoi and bought us "kem" (ice cream) and made us eat things we would otherwise not try. It was all great. She wants me to come to a couch surfing meeting here in Hanoi, and as I have nothing better to do, I'll go there. 7:30pm in the Puk cafe.

So I'll be taking a shower in a few moments, then find something to eat and then go to the meeting.

Oh, and thank you all of course for the birthday wishes =) Very kind!
The whole boat sang happy birthday to me, haha, and I shared the cake that the crew of the Halong Jasmine made for me with the other guests. Good way to make friends 😉

But more about that later! Don't worry about me, I'm having fun and I'm in good health 😉
