Here we are in the capital of Veitnam, a country with an astonishing history. The first few minutes spent in a taxi on the way to our hotel were unbelievable. The architecture of the Vietnamese capital is both European and Asian. Some evident French colonial and Pagoda style buildings can be observed everywhere, painting an interesting picture of an Asian city. Although we got there at the beginning of the raining season, not much rain fell. Our first day was spent in a form of a general walk around the city and the lake, followed by a long trip to a night market nearby. tbc...
