We do not go into the office on Saturdays, but work here at the Hotel. It becomes a good time to catch up on reports and other administrivia (to use Pastoral Director Dave Martin's phrase).
Last night, more doctors and nurses arrived from southern Florida. This group of medical personnel fly from Miami to PaP and spend one weekend a month doing clinics for children here. I had an opportunity to speak with several of them and to bless them for their dedication in serving Haitian children. They are using their God-given skills in His service.
Additionally, I had an opportunity to speak with Pastor Mark, who heads the Mission Ranch orphanage down by the port here in PaP. There are so many persons here that God has called to come along side a country in such dire need. Warms the heart!
