Dusty Europe

It has been a bit difficult to keep up with the news about when commercial airlines will re-commence flying, so much of the walk into Leon was taken up with pondering what options there might be to get to London if there are still difficulties. So I might forego my planned rest day and keep moving on, giving me an extra day should I need to take the train or a ferry to the UK.

Leon

The old city has its share of beautiful buildings, and have visited several, including the cathedral. Also done some shopping for tomorrow so that I can get an early start. Bought too much, so will need to eat some fruit etc.

Meeting with an old friend of Wal shortly.

Bravo
Hi Doug, it's just fantastic to read about your adventure in installments. How is the air that you are breathing? Not too much volcanic dust? Love, Lee

Dust
The major effect of the dust seems to have been on various travel plans, rather than anything we can see, smell or feel walking. Had a beautiful walk today, once out of the traffic of Leon. Birdsong for much of the morning, and such a clear sky. After the last village before my day´s destination, I slowed down a touch so that I could continue to enjoy the peace.
