At last we have signal after being cut off from the world for a week (not always a bad thing!). The first week in our new home was fantastic, the camp site was brilliant, scenary great and we met some really nice people. The weather was quite cold, minus 4 at night and we had snow for two days, it was great to look at through the sky lights, although getting water from a frozen stand pipe was a challange. It was then time to move the 'beast' for the first time, we were a tad apprehensive, however it proved to be a really tame beast and we relocated to Fareham without a problem. We did learn the benefit of doing things in the right order, you cannot push a van of this size, therefore all the 'faffing' has to be done with the car. Had a lovely afternoon and evening at this great little site overlooking the Solent and had out first visitors, Emma and Andy, which was quite exciting and proved that you can cook for four easily.

Two deer just ran past the window - don't see that very often

Ps - thanks for all your
