I´m finally here!!!

Hey everyone!!

Just wanted you all to know that I'm finally here! It's been quite an experience so far. The flight was awful! I was dreading it so much. I felt so sick on the way over here, but as soon as I got off the plane I was fine! How annoying.

We started our orientation and everything and Buenos Aires is so different from home. Tomorrow we actually get to meet our homestay families. I'm pretty excited for that.

This city is huge! I don't think I've left the hotel once yet without getting lost. Everyone smokes here. This is something I was expecting when I got down here, but I wasn't prepared when I walked into the hotel into a cloud of smoke. There's so much to tell...

Walking downt the street is quite an experience. No girl can walk without getting a whistle or some sort of comment from a guy. So much machismo!

The lifestyle here is so different from ours. We eat dinner about 9 or 10 pm. Then after that we'll go to the bar. Last night for example we didn't get home til 5 and we only went home then cuz we had to be up at 8. I can tell this will be an interesting experience:-)

Anyway I have lots more to tell about but not enough time. I'll try to email you all at some point, but it's going to be a busy couple of weeks with orientation. I'm hoping that after I move in tomorrow with my host mom I'll be on a more set schedule.
