Well this is the 3am pissed blog that I anticipated it would be. The opening night was really fantastic, even though I know 'An Inspector Calls' backwards and every other way it really was a stunning production (I suppose Steven Daldry knows his stuff), and of course the after show was as expected. A couple of corporate speeches followed by some serious eating and drinking. This being Australia I had to make best pals with the tech guys in order to find somewhere to have a smoke without taking a lift 5 floors down from the roof terrace. It all went downhill from there. It's now 3.15 am, very pissed, one of the principals has been arrested for taking a leak on the street, I've made good friends with Sneaky and Grant from the crew, who will always put us up in Brissy should we need it, and Barb has a NBF, Manny, gay of course, who runs a great restaurant in the city, so we'll have to come back here to eat before we leave. Annie was a little lightweight and left the bar that we'd moved onto at 2.30am, still she carried her blanket with great professionalism. Off to bed now, hangover to follow I suspect, more to come while we have good net access. Night night.
