Lucien is back!Lucien is back!Lucien is back!

Lucien enjoys breakfast in the backyard again
Just a mini-update: sorry about leaving you all back in Jasper, the remaining blogs (4?) of our wonderful trip through the Canadian Rockies should follow shortly. What happened is the proofs of my latest edition of Producing Videos (3rd edition) arrived via email and I had to spend parts of many of the following days on the road going over them. Since then Phil and I have been to Massachusetts for a month in Oct-Nov (helping to clear out the family home) and Seattle for a month in Nov-Dec, where I did the intensive graduate certificate course in ESL (Teaching English as a Second Language), then a short Christmas interlude back in Portland with Sky, then back to our own home in Australia.
The latest is that Lucien just got back from his volunteer work in Indonesia 3 days ago and he and I are both beginning job hunting. Me for an ESL position, he for ?
So watch for the rest of the travel blogs, which should be arriving soon.

Welcome back Lucien!
You're right - Lucien has lost a little weight. The food or the work he was doing - what does he think? M xx

Happy New Year!
Good to hear from you! Hope you had a great Christmas with Sky. It must be nice to have Lucien back with you in OZ. How long was he in Indonesia for? Are you planning on staying in Australia for a while? Good luck with the job hunting. We are all well. Bruce is currently working at his brothers roofing company (no not on the roof) and Kyle did too while he was with us over the Christmas break. Layne was with us 10 days over Christmas instead of 4 as Bruce's Dad died. Kyle went back Friday to Uni in Tampa via Pensacola to stay with Layne a few days. Layne is in pilot training at the naval base in Pensacola and is renting a house there with other will be pilots. We all had Thanksgiving there. Bonnie is recovering from a concussion she got early December from swimming but is now back in the pool. She graduates in 2011! I'm still working in Kidz Klub at a local school. Happy New Year to you all. I hope to come to Australia this year as it has been nearly 6 years. If I do, I hope you are still there?? Love, Denise
