Me claiming my hat trick of sunglasses purchases!
Yalreet,
We arrived in Siem Reap on 9th March. When we got off the bus it was absolute pandamonium- There were so many Tuk Tuk drivers hastling us to get in their Tuk Tuk. Some of them seemed quite agressive aswell, especially this one guy who held up a placard with our names on it (he was given our names by our guesthouse in Phnom Penh) He was so annoyed when we didn't get in his Tuk Tuk, screaming "WHY YOU NOT GO WITH NAME" and throwing his palacard on the ground!

When we arrived at our guesthouse Will realised that his camera and phone were missing, it looks like they must have been stolen at one of the stops on the bus journey, he had to go to the police station and get a police report- Hopefully his insurance is ok to sort it now, Daddy Scotts already been on the case and has had a new camera sent out by special courier service (aka our mate Bully, who arrives 12th March).

Me and Will looked around the market, where i managed to pick up a Cambodia T-shirt for $1.50 and also buy my third pair of shades

Will and Jonny scaling the steps at the Sky Palace
of the trip after the first pair broke and the second pair were "misplaced" (Note to self, must be more careful in future). There was some good cheap stuff at the market, but i couldn't be bothered carrying it around with me for 7 months- so it looks like i'll get all my souvenirs in America for twenty times the price!?!

On 11th March we visited the Temples of Angkor, a collection of ruins of temples built around 1000 years ago by Cambodian Kings. Scenes from the film Tomb Raider were filmed here. We had to hire a Tuk Tuk driver for the whole day to take us around them. The first main temple we visited, Bayon, depicted the wars against the Vietnamese in the 1100s on the walls. (Will informs me that this is a common misconception, but this is what it said in the information)

It was such a hot day, and we done loads of walking and climbing up steps- was sooo knackered by the end of it. One of the temples was quite cool because it had massive trees growing throughout it. We also had our customary run in with the local kids trying to sell us bracelets and cold drinks- Will had a particularly nasty run in with one of them when he bought a drink off some other vendor instead of them, cries of "You sneak, you no man!!" echoed through the temples- Bloody Ebeneezer! The main attraction of the Temples is Angkor Wat, the biggest religious building in the world- Thats right folks, numero uno, the biggest of the big (When you looked at it from some angles it even looked bigger than Holtby-I kid you not!)-Banter

Following a days Tomb raiding we organised our bus for the next day to Bangkok, where we hoped to meet our mate Chris Bull.
