It's hot here.

And the internet costs money, so I'm gonna keep this sort.

I've been the happiest and most content when the wind's been blowing or I've been indoors; father has been the happiest when we've been sightseeing and eating the delicious food.

There are a lot of Europeans here, almost no Americans. I've only seen a handful of non-Thai Asians and everyone assumes that we're Japanese. Figures.

Oh, and this is just G-R-O-S-S. Yesterday when the Thai canoe'ers were helping father and I out of the boat (this'll be the long version), they said to him "... something something something.. and your wife".

AH?! I'm the daughter!

And when we clarified that for them, they all laughed and one said "oh! No money no honey!".

WTF. They think they're funny. :-[

I guess this could be an honest mistake. I've noticed a lot of odd couples around these parts, if you know what I mean. Grrrrrose.

It could be worse
Because my mother still manages to look fairly young, and I seem to look fairly mature, occasionally people assume I'm her husband, especially if she's got a couple of my younger siblings around...*shudder*
