Equador - Banos - Transylvania Hostel

14 December - Quito to Banos

- Took off from Quito early doors and made our way on a 3.5hr bus ride to Banos on the Banos Express line (really not express at all and much like a bus that stops all the time haha). They kept letting people get on to try to sell us stuff and look to take belongings that wern´t looked after so needless to say we were holding onto bags tightly.

- Made it to Banos (amazing) which is a small town specialising in various extreme activities and thermal springs / volcano, which is cool. Arrived at around 2pm.

- Walked around most of afternoon looking at the small town and found our hostel Transylvania (really good breakfasts).

- Spent the evening going up to the edge of a mountain range to view a volcano which has been quite active recently but too cloudy so not too much to look at. Great to see lights of Banos come on all at once (check out video - very funny).

- The girls went to bed so I went out with the people that came to viewing platform. Went to a discotequ which was fun dancing Salsa (badly). Really fun and again so cheap - makes drinking a very viable option here. Arrived to locked Hostel at 4pm (owner not happy when letting me in hahahaha).....
