My first memory of BodriMy first memory of BodriMy first memory of Bodri

Tasty North Korean soup with excellent meat.
Dear Bodri,

How I long to see you again!!! When I saw you for the last time I was more a cat-person than a dog-lover, but times do change. During our travels my mind wandered frequently and you were often a beckon of light of these drifting thoughts. With a peacefull karma I was thinking of you while we were in Kaesong city in hostile N-Korea. Looking at my red soup with delicious strange, but tasty meat, your cute little snout came into my mind. How I was longing to see you again. It must have been a devine message that our bond could become much more intimate. But alas my memories of you were only shortlasting...

But now you're close to me again. In Yangshou I saw the light! I am a dog-lover. The light was presented to me after passing a gloomy, smelly alley. The light was shining at the end of this dark alley on a farmers market: many happy dogs!

Dear Bodri, what I saw there is etched in my eyes and belly. I realize now that you are a lonely dog. But upon my return I'll change that for you. Many happy dogs

Happy dogs at the Farmer‘s market.
(scruffy and 'semi' white like you, I saw a market full of Bodri's!) were playful in their cute little cages. But fear not, my dear Bodri. Through these cages these lucky dogs explore the world. Trust me, these cages are like travel cabins: on the back of bikes or scooters they move swiftly through the city. In case you are a bit afraid of traveling, lushious Bodri, it's still ok.

I know that you spent most of the time in your safe garden. So rushing through a city might cause stress and your musles might stiffen. No worries. Some lucky chosen ones are given a special treatment on the spot the service, the service... Bodri, I am sure you could become a chosen one.... They'll clean you thoughroughly and best of all, just to impress the ladies, they give you a nice brown tan. You should have seen how good these lucky dogs looked. Smiling cheek to cheek. Bodri, I know you sure will enjoy this treatment. You should have seen how lean & beautyfull these lucky dogs were. Bodri, I don't know when I see you again, bt I'll find you. And trust me on this one: It will be the change of a lifetime for you and I will be satisfied.

Kisses and warm hugs,
Chris

just a hint
Chris, I appreciate your 'taste' for adventure and trying new things. But just a well ment piece of advise: should you ever want to try to make a better impression on my parents by displaying your good sense of humour, do not ever, under any circumstances, make any suggestion about your new gastronomical experiences, and certainly not in relation to Bieke... she would not prove much to be satisfied on anyway ;-)
