Right, I Cable cared it up Table mountain, awesome view (spot whos been spending time wiv the yanks!) and crawled all the way across it. But felt after all that a chill on the beach was needed. A tour of the penisular was next and que the first ride, luckily on a bike, mostly downhill but still hard work, our lunch was then stolen by babboons, cheeky monkies 😊
Stellonbosh was the next stop, finally making a move from the Cape, not far mind. Que the wine tour ummmmmmmmm.....
Got my money worth and fairly drunk, picture me at a free bar. Happy Pill.
With a spare day we went to a nature reserve by BIKE! and que second ride, 5 frigging hours. ouch and bumps 😞 owe saddle sore, still feeling it, nver going on a bike again!
Oudsthorn next. Ostrich crazy place there everywere! So HAD to have one for dinner and some of the egg for brekkie loads of scrambled egg. The eggs are massive you can stand on them. Que the third ride.. on an ostrich! Was soo cool, will get some piccies up for you guys, bit differnt from Bur! Also went caving when there can you see my ass fitting through a 24cm hole?? Well it did!
Not actually in Plett bay, next one on, Jefferys bay. So wicked sunshine, sand and yummy surfer types to watch (no Troys 😉 )
Best go, time for a beer cos Im having such a hard time of it! Feel for you guys x

Hi Pill - finally remembered to look online for your journal. I am the Canadian guy in the wheelchair from the Cape Town hostel. Actually, I just got home after falling out of my chair beside Victoria Falls in Zambia and breaking my leg....after 32 hrs in a plane, now recovering and on the painkillers, lol...had a great time in Africa while it lasted tho'. Take care Pill...will enjoy tracking you over the next few months during my recovery. And of course, I will be very jealous. ...Walt!
