Hong Kong - not so long

We have a stop over flight there and just stay 2 days to visit Els' pen pal (yes once upon a time in a world without the internet, people wrote letters) & friends she met at the work camp in Mongolia. We are not so impressed with what we see: a big crowdy expensive city and people are not the most polite and friendly ones. We go to the peak, the main view point and tourist attraction in HK, but bad weather is following us again: the nice view is covered with fog, so we hardly see anything at all. Besides that we figure out that shopping is one of the main activities in Hong Kong, but everything is really expensive, so we skip it. For me the main attraction was the modern toilet restaurant a theme restaurant combining two nice things with the slogan 'shit or food?'. You sit on toilet seats and food is served in little toilets (http://www.moderntoilet.com.tw/en/about.asp). It was nice to have seen this international city, but that's about it, we can tick another box on our list of cities to visit.
