Come on South Africa - hurrah!!
Cape town is just as beautiful and amazing as I remembered! The weather was bad before I arrived but as I landed the sun came out and I had some gorgeous weather!
The week and a bit went far too quickly but I managed to do lots:
Scenic drive down all the way to Cape point passing everything from Hout bay, Noordhoek, Kalk Bay and Simonstown. We also managed to fit in some sundown drinks in Camps Bay.
I have had a few beers on sunny roof terraces relaxing with a book, walked around gorgeous botanical gardens and nearly killed myself climbing Table Mountain...
It was suuuuuuper hot and no one else was out walking. I took a different route than planned and ended up climbing for 5 hours and I already spent an hour hiking uphill to get there...6 hours and a small bottle of water. At least the man in the cable car gave me a discount on the way down as i have been such a good climber!
That was actually my birthday and to celebrate I was taken out in the evening for some drinks and a
lovely dinner with live jazz!
I also did a day of kite surfing in Langebaan which was frustrating and hard but loads of fun. Oh, and I forgot to mention the penguins at Boulders beach - so cute!
The weather had been bad so the conditions for scuba diving was not good enough so unfortunately no scuba for me..😞
Apart from enjoying too much south african wine that is pretty much it. Thaks you so much Sarah, Ryan and Heather for having me stay with you and for making my birthday wicked!

Sister, this is to good to be true! Fantastic pictures! I am jealous! After a week of rain we finally have a day of sun here in Amsterdam. Keep up the good work I will be following you! Give Jim an Suus a X from me! No baby yet, hopefully soon! xx Leila
