My second day in Amsterdam, my new favorite hobby is wandering around aimlessly until something draws me in. It tends to happen every quarter-mile or so, and Amsterdam isn't too big, so I've been covering a lot of ground. Solo traveling definitely has it's perks! I feel so blessed that I am in a place in my life that I can enjoy such an experience. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about how incredibly fortunate I am,...it's no secret that I come from from one of the most loving, giving, big-hearted families left in the world. The love that filled my childhood is what continues to fuel me today. It's what drives me to share my blessings with everyone I can. I have way too much love for one person to contain. Okay, re-eading that definitely sounds cheesy, but its oh so honestly true...maybe need to take a break from the coffee shops....lots of time for deep thoughts. The coffeeshops are definitely doing wonders for my appetite! I'm still packing on the pounds for my probable parasite due to tear through me, so that's been my other favorite thing to do here,..sit and eat in all sorts of different cafes. I found a cute little spot with the most delish ham pancakes! Don't know how I never thought of that one,...ham, cheese, and onion,...in a pancake, yum. Anyway, many captivating moments and more to come...headed out to see some museums this afternoon...and more wandering aimlessly over bridges, along the canals and through the parks, taking in the sights. Thank you all for your kind words on the comment site...I love hearing from you all!
