It's been a while since we last logged into the blogger bizzo - been very busy at work and any time off work has been spent on the slopes. Winter in Hirafu is Suuuugoi! We have mastered the art of skiing...and all those snobs who carry on about style and form and edges and turns don't know what they're missing out on! Chinese downhill all the way baby! The powder has been every bit as terrific as everybody had predicted. We now understand what all the fuss is about...first tracks really are exceptional over here!

So essentially our lives over the past 2 months have been fairly 2-dimensional: Work and action on the slopes! Have tried almost every restaurant in town...delicious 😉 We were thrilled that Ev Newnham made it over here and that Mannie also pulled up a piece of futon on our floor for a couple of weeks. Caz and Batty showed us some of the best corners of our own backyard and left Sal feeling like she had bit hit by a snowcat! Brilliant!!!

The weather has already begun to change. Less days of yuki puki an more of stunning sunny skies and Youtei views. Looking forward to some glamourous Spring skiing over the next few weeks!

Attached are a couple of pics taken over the winter here...

Hope summer has been a goodie back in Oz, sushi smoochies to you all,

Sal n Gav
