Ayurvedic Bliss

It's been couple of rough days for VV.... well as rough as not having to work and being on a massive holiday and kinda doing whatever she wants whenever she wants, goes....

I've been struck down with a second bout of seriously nasty bites, one, which looks more or less like a deformed Siamese twin with chicken pox on my left calf. Another, has caused my right eyelid to swell up.

BUT! Today I have been healed! We went to a resort hotel called Windflower to visit the Ayurvedic treatment spa. I chose the Ahbyanga Sweda which was not only the best massage I've ever had, but probably one of the best experiences of my life.

I was covered in aromatherapy oils from scalp to toe and massaged by two therapists in tandem. It could have been Vishnu for all I knew. Before the began they sung a prayer, then a head massage and foot scrub, a full body massage, a go in the steam box with my head poking out the top then a shower with some of the most amazing bath products I've ever seen.

Anyway, enough rambling, I'm on cloud nine and feel VERY VERY lucky to be here.

Off to Hampi tomorrow! Will be in touch.

PS: It was 37 bucks (18 quid) which made it even sweeter.

Are you in Mysore or myeyesore?? Poor eye, i was hoping to see a close up. Well I guess you can come home now, or maybe more best experiences ever to come. Yipeeee. It does seem to make sense that you go a little more up market and avoid the bedbugs where possible and get spoilt. You have to find a guru/avatar/god of some kind to bring home ( in yr heart) and love forever then they look after you all your life. What are you doing since the the massage? Hampi? Make sure you get a past life reading. Ring again when you can, maybe do skype. Everyone sends love and kisses. Ellie loved getting yr call. She took Dad to teh Opera House tonight for fathers day, he very lucky man. MMMMMMMWWWWWAAHH!
