Edit Blog Post

I would first like to apologize for not updating my blog. While I was in China I was either very busy, very tired or very sick. Usually the last one, which brings me to the title of this entry. I am home in America, I have been sick for several weeks and made the very difficult decision to come home. I felt I needed more help than what I could get in China. I want to thank everyone for their love and support. I hope I did not disappoint too many people by coming home. I know everyone wanted me to succeed and have fun in China, but that wasn't the case. I had a lot of great times and met a lot of wonderful people in China, but my health was #1 and it was not getting better. I am happy to be home in America and don't regret my decision at all, except for the fact that so many people helped me get there and it breaks my heart to think they think ill of me. You are all wonderful people to help me. I want everyone to know that the school supplies everyone donated are being used and were greatly needed and appreciated even though I am not there.

I went to the Chinese doctor and they told me I had inflamed intestines, I freaked out and will be going to the doctor here in America sometime this week. I will let you know if I have a parasite, or whatever I may have contracted.

Welcome Home!
Hello Skyla!!! Welcome back to the USA. Glad you're home safe! There is no disgrace is getting sick and taking care of yourself. I'm looking forward to hearing what you were able to do while you were there. When you feel better let us know the high points and the low points. There are always both when you're abroad on a mission like that. I'm relieved you'll be going to the Dr. and getting the medical care you need. Soon you'll be back to 100% and raring to go. Write when you have a minute. Blessings, Leslie
