first time in south east asia & love at first sight

bali - kuta beach: checking out the surf and the parties,
bali - national park buleleng trip to national park, walking with funky monkeys and other crazy animals through the jungle,
bali - uluwatu: surf spot,
bali - tanah lot: touching the holy snake supposed to bring luck and it did!: after touching it, delayed luggage (hasn't arrived for 5 days) arrived and was immediately brought from airport to our accomodation, should have done that immediately after arrival,..
bali - volcano mt batur: climbing up the volcana with torch at 4am to see amazing sunrise at top and enjoy breakfast there: eggs & banana cocked from hot volcano steam, after 5 hours walk we relax at the pool, what a great day,
bali - besakih temple: greatest temple on bali, great temple, great view,
gili trawangan: enjoying beautiful island life, snorkeling and many parties..., back in '99 this was still a bit of a hotspot/ semi secret tip, not that known, ...of course this would change quickly within a couple of years,..
